Are you the type to make new year's resolutions, only to break them two weeks later? Or maybe, you've just decided, no more resolutions...from now on, I'm going rogue.
This year, I decided I was going to try one resolution. No pressure, just one thing I'd like to change. One thing that will make my year easier, maybe even better.
How's that working for me you ask?
Ask me in two weeks.
I'm not sure if you've noticed, but it's been cold outside lately. Not just cold, but windy! Every year I say, "this year is so much colder than last." Perhaps it is, or perhaps I'm just getting more and more used to these California summers.
The cold has made it pretty hard on market nights. So hard in fact, that we had to take a good long look at our hours and what works best for us. The last thing we want, is a market with hours that change more than the channels on my TV when I'm bored.
It's hard finding that sweet spot, but I think we have. Starting this Saturday, January 24, 2024 and all of February, we will be entering into what we are calling "Seasonal Hours." Our hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hours nestled between lunch and dinner. The perfect excuse to come out and try our newest food truck, The Eating Crew. Serving pastrami sandwiches, patty melts, California burritos and more.
Speaking of food vendors, have you heard about Francisca's Sweet Treats? If you've got a sweet-tooth, she serves fresh funnel cakes, then hop over to Roasted by D, for a hot coffee, cold brew or hot cocoa. Do you love homemade fresh bread? Try Sassy Bakes by NoNo, serving up homemade sourdough, banana chocolate chip, cranberry orange walnut, and my personal favorite, coconut pineapple bread. Got a hankering for homemade jams and jellies made from unique fruits like figs, persimmons or pomegranates? Then visit Vangie's Creations. She will always greet you with a smile.
Looking for that perfect Valentine's Day gift for your friend, partner, or yourself?
